Both are the most used protocols worldwide based on IPs. The biggest difference between them is the reliability guaranteed by the TCP protocol that checks if the receiver received the packet correctly and resends the packet if it has been corrupted or lost.
The UDP protocol, on the other hand, has the objective of making the process of sending data faster and therefore does not carry out operations to verify that the packet has been delivered.
